New South Wales Fair Trading has deemed electrocuting metal Christmas trees, remote controlled helicopters that have a risk of catching fire and firing pistols as 'dangerous' gifts that should not be given to children.
It conducted its annual Christmas blitz, seizing 146 Christmas toys and 17 electrical products, an increase of 26 dangerous toys since last year, the Sydney Morning herald reports.
